All costs must be covered prior to the
commencement of in-patient care regardless of the insurance status of the
patient.
Covering of in-patient care costs
Patient
transfer/post-hospital curative treatment
Should the transfer of a patient to our clinic
be intended, the transferring hospital applies for the transfer costs to be
covered by the appropriate funding party.
Referral
from general practitioner/ specialist
The
referring physician places the application for in-patient rehabilitation or
specialist treatment along with a description of the medical indications with
the appropriate insurer.
Private
medical insurances
The covering of costs by private insurance
companies must also be approved prior to the commencement of in-patient care.
Self-paying patients
Advance payment is required on admission to the
clinic for self-paying patients. This will be calculated against the
accumulated actual cost of treatment at the end of treatment.
International
patients
-
International
patients from the EU require the E-112 form from the appropriate health
insurance provider in their own country prior to admission to the clinic.
-
Advance
payment is required for self-paying international patients which is then
calculated against the accumulated actual cost of treatment at the end of
treatment.
