Registration
Once the final documents have been reviewed by the interdisciplinary team and approved by your funding body, our patient administration will arrange the next possible admission date.
Companions are not necessary for nursing care on the wards. In some cases, however, it can be very important to involve companions in the rehabilitation process. In that case, please contact our patient administration.
Our patient administration is the point of contact for enquiries regarding funding bodies, co-payments, companions, valuables deposit, etc.

Admission
Your first day with us can involve many questions, expectations and sometimes an arduous journey. We have summarised the most important information for your first day here:
- Arrival should be no later than 10:30 am.
- Please report to reception in the main building (green signposts).
- Afterwards the nursing team will look after you and discuss some initial medical matters with you.
- Depending on your arrival time, you will then have some time to settle in.
- The ward doctor will introduce themselves and examine you.
- After this examination it will be determined which therapies are important for you and their order of priority.
- Once you have settled in, please visit the patient administration from the third day to clarify general matters such as co-payments, etc.

Procedure:
Your arrival at the Földiklinik
1) Reception (Haus Starling)
- Welcome
- Information about your stay
- Completion of forms
- Issuing of the key card for your room
- Directions to the nursing admission
2) Waiting area Haus Aselli
- You may take a seat in the foyer of Haus Aselli until you are collected for the nursing admission
- Please help yourself to the coffee machine/water dispenser
- Bottles for the water dispenser will be provided by a member of the admissions team
3) Nursing admission
- You will be collected from the foyer by a member of the admissions team
- Recording of all important and relevant information for nursing care
- Issuing of the patient folder, including an explanation
4) Volume measurement/ECG/Photographic documentation
- Please take a seat in the waiting area for the volume measurement/ECG/photographic documentation
- You will be called by a member of staff
- Carrying out the volume measurement/ECG and photographic documentation
5) Waiting area Haus Aselli/ Reception (Haus Starling)
- If your stay is on Ward Aselli/Winiwarter, please take a seat in the Aselli waiting area
- If your stay is on Ward Starling/Bennhold, please take a seat at the reception waiting area
- You will be collected in the appropriate area by the nurse from the respective ward
6) Nursing staff will accompany you to your ward
- A member of the nursing staff will explain all important ward information and the further procedure to you
- Handing in the patient folder
7) Medical admission
- You will be informed by a member of the nursing staff when the medical admission will take place
Further information and forms
Compression therapy
Important for the success of compression therapy is comprehensive advice from the doctor and the correct measurement of the stockings. This is carried out at exactly specified measurement points. For them to be effective, the compression stockings must fit precisely. Medical supply centres with many years of well-founded expertise in this field typically provide the best-fitting stocking solutions.
The prescription of medical compression stockings for the period after inpatient treatment is issued by doctors experienced in lymphology here at our facility. The custom-made medical compression stockings (class I - IV) are checked for fit and effectiveness before your discharge from hospital.

Lunch buffet
At midday you'll find a varied buffet offering several side dishes and vegetables that can be combined as you like, so you can help yourself according to your taste.
Evening themed buffets
In the evenings enjoy rotating themed buffets – for example featuring Black Forest specialities, a wide selection of cheeses, alpine cheeses & Antipasti and much more.
Wednesdays are Veggie Day
On Veggie Day we serve delicious, purely vegetarian dishes – inspired by current nutritional recommendations of the German Nutrition Society and in the spirit of a sustainable lifestyle. Particularly popular are our vegetable lasagne and the spicy chickpea masala – two real classics.
Special requests for children
For our younger guests we are happy to prepare dishes on request such as pancakes with apple sauce, pasta with tomato sauce or Viennese sausages – just ask us.
Extended breakfast on Sundays and public holidays
Start the day relaxed with our special breakfast offering: among other things you can expect egg dishes, fresh raisin plait and homemade Bircher muesli.
Cafeteria "Rössle Stube"
Visit our cafeteria "Rössle Stube".
It is currently open daily from 14:00 to 18:00. We offer a variety of hot and cold drinks, mixed drinks, cakes, ice cream and snacks. The service and kitchen team look forward to your visit.
