As soon as the final documents have been reviewed by the interdisciplinary team and approved by your cost bearer, our patient administration will arrange the next possible admission date.

For nursing care on the wards, companions are not necessary. However, in some cases, it may be very important to involve companions in the rehabilitation process. Please contact our patient administration in this case.

Our patient administration is the contact point for inquiries regarding cost bearers, co-payments, companions, valuables storage, etc.

Admission

Your first day with us is accompanied by many questions, expectations, and sometimes a tiring journey. We have summarised the most important information for your first day here:

  • Your arrival should be no later than 10:30 AM.
  • Please check in at the reception in the main building (green signs).
  • Following this, the nursing team will attend to you and clarify several medical matters with you.
  • Depending on your arrival time, you will have some time to settle in.
  • The ward doctor will introduce themselves to you and examine you.
  • After this examination, it will be determined which therapies are important for you and in what priority.
  • Once you have settled in, please visit the patient administration from the third day onwards to clarify general matters such as co-payments, etc.
  • We wish you a pleasant and successful stay.

Admission Day

Process:

Your Arrival at the Földiklinik

1) Reception (House Starling)

  • Welcome
  • Information about your stay
  • Filling out forms
  • Handing out the chip card for your room
  • Directions to the nursing admission

2) Waiting Area House Aselli

  • You can take a seat in the foyer of House Aselli until you are called for nursing admission
  • You are welcome to help yourself at the coffee machine/water dispenser
  • Bottles for the water dispenser can be obtained from a member of the admission team

3) Nursing Admission

  • A member of the admission team will collect you from the foyer
  • Collection of all important and relevant information for care 
  • Handing out the patient file including explanation

4) Volume Measurement/ECG/Photo Documentation

  • Please take a seat in the waiting area for volume measurement/ECG/photo documentation
  • You will be called by a staff member
  • Conducting volume measurement/ECG and photo documentation

5) Waiting Area House Aselli/Reception (House Starling)

  • If your stay is at Station Aselli/Winiwarter, please take a seat in the Aselli waiting area
  • If your stay is at Station Starling/Bennhold, please take a seat at the reception waiting area
  • You will be collected by the nursing staff of the respective station in the appropriate area

6) Nursing Staff will accompany you to your station

  • All important station information as well as the next steps will be explained to you by a member of the nursing staff
  • Handing in the patient file

7) Medical Admission

  • A member of the nursing staff will inform you when the medical admission will take place

Compression Therapy

For the success of compression therapy, comprehensive consultation by the physician and accurate measurement of the stockings are crucial. This occurs at precisely defined measurement points. In order to work effectively, compression stockings must fit properly. Medical supply companies with years of expertise in this field typically provide the most suitable stocking supply.

The prescription of medical compression stockings for the period following a hospital stay is carried out by lymphologically experienced doctors at our facility. The custom-made medical compression stockings (Class I - IV) are checked for fit and effectiveness before your discharge from the clinic.

Lunch Buffet
At lunchtime, you can enjoy a varied buffet with several side dishes and vegetables that you can mix and match to your liking.

In the evenings, look forward to changing themed buffets – for example, featuring specialities from the Black Forest, a variety of cheeses, mountain cheese & antipasti, and much more.

Wednesday is Veggie Day
On Veggie Day, we serve you delicious, purely vegetarian dishes – inspired by the current nutritional recommendations of the German Nutrition Society and in the spirit of a sustainable lifestyle. Our vegetable lasagne and spicy chickpea marsala are particularly popular – two true classics.

Special Requests for Children
For our little guests, we are happy to prepare dishes such as pancakes with apple sauce, pasta with tomato sauce or frankfurters upon request – just let us know.

Extended Breakfast on Sundays and Public Holidays
Start your day off relaxed with our special breakfast offering: Expect dishes including egg dishes, fresh raisin bread and homemade Bircher muesli.

Cafeteria "Rössle Stube"

Visit our Cafeteria "Rössle Stube".

It is currently open daily from 14:00 to 18:00 hours. We offer various hot and cold drinks, mixed beverages, cakes, ice cream, and snacks. The service and kitchen team looks forward to your visit.
